| Analysis of HIV/AIDS patients co-infected with HBV in Shaanxi Province |

Abstract Objective To investigate the status of HIV/AIDS patients co-infected with HBV and to provide scientific evidence for HBV prevention and control among HIV/AIDS patients in Shaanxi Province. Methods Totally 1 018 blood specimens were collected from HIV infected patients diagnosed by Shaanxi Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention from June 2011 to June 2016. The five HBV markers（HBsAg，HBsAb，HBeAg，HBeAb，HBcAb）for HIV/AIDS patients were tested，and a descriptive analysis was conducted for the Hepatitis B infection status of HIV/AIDS patients. Results Of 1 018 HIV/AIDS patients，112 patients（11.00%）were HBsAg positive. A total of 19 kinds of HBV marker's phenotype distribution were found. Of which，the inoculated population（HBsAg-，HBsAb+，HBeAb-，HBeAb-，HBcAb-）were 446 cases（43.81%），followed by the susceptible population（HBsAg-，HBsAb-，HBeAb-，HBeAb-，HBcAb-）which were 307 cases（30.16%） . The great three positive（HBsAg+，HBsAb-，HBeAg+，HBeAb-，HBcAb+）were 16 cases（1.57%）and the small three positive（HBsAg+，HBsAb-，HBeAg-，HBeAb+，HBcAb+）were 30 cases（2.95%） . The rate of HBsAg positive（18.31%）and great three positive（HBsAg+，HBsAb-，HBeAg+，HBeAb-，HBcAb+） （5.63%）in the Yi nationality were higher than that in the Han nationality and others（10.45%，1.27%） （P<0.05）. Conclusion The rate of HIV/AIDS patients co-infected with HBV in Shaanxi Province was higher than that in the general population，and the rate for the Yi nationality was higher than that in the Han nationality and others.
