China Preventive Medicine Journal (formerly Zhejiang Preventive Medicine and Preventive Medicine) (ISSN 2096-5087; CN 33-1400/R) was founded in September 1989. The journal publishes on the 10th of each month. It is supervised by Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, sponsored by Zhejiang Preventive Medicine Association, and published by the Editorial Office of China Preventive Medicine Journal as part of the series of journals of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association.
AimThe journal aims to advancing the field of preventive medicine through leveraging the latest technological advancements, emphasizing tertiary prevention, and combining popularization and improvement. At the core of our mission is a commitment to staying at the forefront of developments in public health and preventive medicine and facilitating the exchange of research results and information among professionals in the preventive medicine field.

Previous TitlesIn March 2016, with the approval of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of The People's Republic of China (Approval No. [2016] 326), Zhejiang Preventive Medicine was renamed as Preventive Medicine. In 2024, the journal changed its English name to China Preventive Medicine Journal to avoid duplication with another exiting English journal. The Chinese name remains the same.
