Abstract Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of other infectious diarrheas in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, from 2015 to 2025, so as to provide the evidence for formulating regional prevention and control strategies. Methods Data on other infectious diarrheas in Wenzhou City from 2015 to 2025, including gender, age and onset date, were collected from the Infectious Disease Reporting Information System of Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System. The average annual percent change (AAPC) was used to analyze the trend in reported incidence, and descriptive epidemiological methods were used to analyze the regional, temporal, demographic and pathogen distribution characteristics. Results A total of 44 834 cases of other infectious diarrheas were reported in Wenzhou City from 2015 to 2025, with an average annual reported incidence of 43.21/105, showing an overall upward trend (AAPC=21.885%, P<0.05). Cases were reported across all 12 counties (districts) of Wenzhou, with Yongjia County having a relatively high average annual reported incidence of 170.46/105. The incidence showed a bimodal seasonal pattern, with 12 567 cases (28.03%) occurring from February to April and 13 291 cases (29.65%) from July to September. The average annual reported incidence was higher in males than in females (46.62/105 vs. 39.38/105, P<0.05). The number of reported cases in the 0-<5 years age group was relatively high, with 15 929 cases accounting for 35.53%. In terms of occupational distribution, scattered-living children constituted the predominant group, with 14 436 cases representing 32.20%. Viral pathogens predominated, with 1 958 norovirus cases accounting for 50.59% and with 1 736 rotavirus cases accounting for 44.86%. Conclusions The reported incidence of other infectious diarrhea in Wenzhou City showed an increasing trend from 2015 to 2025. High-risk groups included males and young children, Yongjia County was the high-incidence area, and spring and summer were the peak seasons. Norovirus was the primary pathogen.
